I recevied my treadmill 2 days ago and I'm glad I went with the Lifespan 3000 over other models in a similar price range. The quality seems good for the price and coincides with the positive ratings and reviews I've read. The design is simple and clean. I like that the console is a minimal size and not one of those large cheap plastic consoles. Assembly was no problem but requires two people to move the boxed item.

By the way, the console seems to have been designed to be able to lay a lap top for viewing while walking. I purchased this treadmill because I spend long hours working at home on a computer and wanted to create a treadmill worksation. With this model I could have just positioned a laptop on the treadmill and it have worked fine, but I've gone all the way and setup a wall shelf for a monitor and lay a small piece of plywood across the console and front handle bar to hold a keyboard and mouse. Works perfectlty and I can work while I walk at 1.7 mph.

My TR3000i arrived last week, and is the most beautiful and rugged treadmill I've owned or used (at Gym). The construction, frame and console are very sturdy, with careful attention to every bit of detail. I had a few questions, and called Lifespan fitness. The sales and support teams were very helpful (compared to my earlier experience with Icon Fitness/Health Rider -- where support is pretty much non-existent!). In all, I am extremely satisfied with the Company and their product and strongly recommend their product. I exercise very regularly at a local gym, and at home when I cannot make it to the gym; I've used a lot of equipment and this treadmill is very good!
